Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is absolutely beautiful. The combination of pyrography and delicate watercolours goes together really well, and you've managed to combine both without overpowering the work of either.
I'm giving 4 for vision, as I love the image, though it could have benefitted from either a better camera or brighter lighting. However, the pyrography itself is a stunning image.
Originality, I'm giving a 4 for as well. Although cherry trees and butterflies are one of the most overused images, I have yet to see a design in pyrography that successfully captures both, which this does.
Technique earns the full five stars! I cannot see a single brush stroke or pen mark out of place, and the delicateness (that's a word.....now....) of the flowers and butterflies is simply outstanding.
Impact also earns the full five stars - this is now one of my all time favourite pieces!
